Gerrit Kamphuis has used national archives, eye witnesses and family members in England, United States and Germany. Several others have also provided their own extensive research. After 20 years of Gerrit’s research daughter Silvie reconstructed the stories and facts into a true adventure book, in which you get to know the brave men inside the aircrafts and learn about their life story, their final hours or how they managed to survive.
